Training - Wreck Diver Speciality

Our coast is surrounded by thousands of sunken wrecks; you may have heard other divers speaking about the unique adventure that wreck diving can provide; or even have experienced your first wreck dive during your Advanced Open Water course and be eager to explore more - whatever your reason for considering the Wreck Diver Speciality, this course will provide have the knowledge and special skills needed to enjoy the pleasure of wreck diving safely.

What is involved: This course will increase your knowledge of wreck hazards and considerations and how to navigate different types of wrecks. You will be introduced to the planning, organisation, procedures, techniques, problems and hazards of wreck diving, including limited-visibility diving techniques, wreck penetration and emergency procedures along with the preparation and use of lights, air supplies, special equipment, penetration lines and reels.

4 Open Water dives.

On completion of the course you will be awarded the PADI Wreck Diver Speciality award. This speciality can be accredited as one of the five speciality ratings a diver has to attain to achieve the highest non-instructional qualification on the PADI curriculum - Master Scuba Diver.

Course Prerequisite: Open Water Diver (or Junior. Open Water) or equivalent.
