Red Sea - Sharm El Sheik.
|
Sharm El Sheik is possibly the most spectacular diving area in the Red Sea. With some 40 miles of reef, it is richly endowed with dramatic coral drop-offs, aquamarine bays and coral formations unparalleled in the diving world. World-famous dive sites include Ras Mohammed, Tiran Island and the wrecks of SS Thislegorm and Dunraven. Sharm is the ideal location for divers and holidaymakers alike. The climate is cool and sunny in winter, and hot in the summer. The water is warm all year round, requiring just a 3mm wetsuit in summer and a two-piece in winter. Sharm is sheltered from the wind and currents are gentle. Naama Bay is the resort centre: a bustling hive of dive centres, hotels, restaurants, shops and bars. The atmosphere is always friendly and relaxed. |

Located up on Ras Um Sid headland, the hotel offers comfortable accommodation in a relaxed location, which is why it has become very popular with divers and non-divers alike. The hotel is also ideal for single travellers because of its low single supplement and its very friendly atmosphere. A courtyard style hotel with views across to the distant Sinai Mountains. The hotel consists of 70 comfortable air-conditioned guest rooms, some of which are adjoining, providing a high standard of accommodation with private bathrooms, phones and satellite TV. Relax around the large swimming pools and sun deck area during your day off or enjoy a cold beer and catch up on the day’s dives with friends around the sociable pool bar. The hotel has a restaurant and a large pool bar serving hot and cold meals, snacks and drinks throughout the day. |
