Training - Open Water Diver
Begin the adventure today! Within just a few days you can be enjoying the underwater world. The first step is to take a PADI Open Water Diver course, the most widely recognised and respected diving certification in the world.
What is involved: The course has three segments:
Academic Presentations and Self Study
Confined Water Training Sessions
Four Open Water Dives
Academic presentations are balanced with self study material and cover the basics you need to dive safely and to have fun. You will have already viewed the video, CD or DVD in the comfort of your home, then your instructor elaborates and answers any questions. After a presentation you are taken to a pool where you will learn to master elementary diving skills. Upon successful completion of the first two phases you will be taken to either the coast or an inland dive site where the fun really starts. Here you will have the opportunity to review the skills you learned in the pool and to go diving! After all that's why you're signing up for the course.
Referral Course.
If you prefer, you may complete the first two segments of your course in the UK and choose to complete your course abroad. This option allows you to free up valuable time on your trip abroad by completing all of the academic and confined water training beforehand.
Course Prerequisite: Virtually anyone who is in good health, reasonably fit, and comfortable in the water can earn a Scuba Diver certification. If you are between 10 and 14 or have a child between these ages, there is a PADI Junior Scuba Diver program available.
On-line Theory Option. You now have the option to complete all of your theory on-line.
