Horsea
Island first
opened by the Royal Navy in 1889 and is now home to the
Defence Diving School, a joint services establishment
to train divers for service in
both the Fleet and Field Army.
A kilometre long with various sunken attractions to delight divers; a Land Rover ambulance, a Wessex helicopter, a decompression chamber and a whole heap more!
