Training - Dry Suit Diver
No-one likes to get cold when diving. This course gives you the ability and warmth to enable you to dive all year round and keep warm. Unlike a wet suit the dry suit has unique issues when underwater. This course gives you the ability and practical knowledge to enable you to dive safely using a dry suit. Skills included are the correct method of donning and removing the suit. Buoyancy check procedures. Descents and ascents and skills such as the hover and fin pivots using the suit. It will include routine, preventative maintenance and performance checks on the dry suits coupled with problems and emergency procedures.
Course Prerequisite: Open Water Diver (or Junior. Open Water) or equivalent.
The PADI Dry Suit Speciality course is one of the many specialities that you can build on to attain the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating - the highest non professional rating in recreational scuba diving.
