Training - Peak Performance Buoyancy
The peak performance buoyancy speciality gives you the opportunity to fine tune your in water buoyancy. You will learn to control your buoyancy using breathing techniques, streamlining and visualisation.
The course you will also cover weight distribution and positioning; perfecting skills such as the hover and fin pivot; and give you a chance to try different weighting systems; so as to hone your buoyancy control. These skills are invaluable to protecting the vulnerable aquatic environment and essential in areas such as underwater photography or videography.
On completion of the course you will be awarded the PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Speciality diver award. The Peak Performance Buoyancy
Speciality can be accredited as one of the five speciality ratings a diver has to attain to achieve the highest non-instructional qualification on the PADI curriculum - Master Scuba Diver.Course Prerequisite: Open Water Diver (or Junior. Open Water) or equivalent.
